Meet Miriam ElKorchi! She’s our Instagram Manager on our Social Media Team! For the month of March, she is our Volunteer of the Quarter!

Miriam is a creative marketer who uses storytelling and pop culture to reimagine customer engagement, viewing the buying process as an epic journey fraught with challenges. Her innovative approach ensures that messages are delivered effectively, whether via whimsical or traditional methods. 

As the Instagram Manager for AMA Boston, she has led our Instagram page with both informative and engaging content. Brian Hurst, the VP of Social Media for AMA Boston, commends her efforts:

Tell us about yourself!

I’m a big media nerd! Love movies and TV – always watching the hot zeitgeist show then listening to recap podcasts after. Big fan of karaoke – my go-to song is Donna Summer’s Bad Girls.

Why are you involved with the AMA Boston / marketing community, and how is the AMA helping empower your career and growth?

I joined AMA after I got laid off from my Content Marketing job in an effort to keep my marketing skills sharp. I’ve loved managing the Instagram, I try to be really creative and fun with our content. My inspiration is to model our account off of Morning Brew and the B-Side, pop-business with a Boston flair!

What excites you about marketing/the marketing field?

I love the way marketing is a combination of business, pop-culture, psychology, and communications. I love figuring out how to connect with an audience, and what will motivate them.

Who is your favorite marketer OR what is your favorite business that does marketing well?

I love Jaju Pierogi’s instagram account! They’re so clever how they interpret trends.
