Tim Walsh, Founder and Managing Partner at Vetted
Tim has been a recruiting leader in the Boston area for more than 15 years. After making a career transition from marketing to recruiting in 2003, he began a run of eight consecutive years as the top-performing recruiter for a boutique search firm in Cambridge, MA. There, he placed top marketing, sales, product, analytics & professional services talent with software, e-commerce & marketing services companies, which remains his focus today.
After co-founding ConnectedSearch in 2012 and overseeing revenue growth from zero to $2 million, he sold his practice and, after five years spent with two other specialty recruiting firms, launched Vetted with the goal of creating a more forward-thinking boutique recruitment and career services firm, one that gives back in meaningful ways to the communities it serves while providing best-in-market talent acquisition services to some of the most interesting companies in Greater Boston.
Tim lives in Arlington, MA, with his wife and two children. When he’s not attending one of his son’s baseball or hockey games, or his daughter’s theater or musical performances, he’s probably listening to alternative rock (Buffalo Tom, Courtney Barnett, Pearl Jam, Liz Phair and Veruca Salt are among favorites) or sports talk radio, avidly following the latest exploits of the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and, especially, Patriots.
