What are you involved with on and off campus?

I serve as Vice President of Operations for Clark University AMA chapter.

I am also the Vice President for Clark’s Women in Business Group. I work as Student Assistant for ClarkCONNECT, which is an alumni mentorship platform for Clark students. I am also working as a campus ambassador for Clark University and am a member of the International Student Rights Coalition on campus.

Why are you involved with the AMA/marketing community, and how is the AMA helping empower your future career?

I enjoy being part of the AMA community because it allows me to explore the several facets of marketing and identify the ones that are my best fit in terms of career prospects (digital marketing, social media management etc.). I am extremely honored to be part of an organization where I get to meet and wok with inspirational, like-minded and supportive business leaders.

AMA has helped empower me for future career prospects through their mentorship program. Through the program, I have had the incredible opportunity to work with Pat Cooper. Pat has regularly checked in with me regarding job applications and helped me improve my resume, cover letter and interview approach when applying to companies. I am truly grateful to have his guidance as I continue to navigate my career trajectory.

What do you want to do in the future in terms of your career?

My dream job would definitely be in the marketing field, though I am still in the process of narrowing down my options.

Who is your favorite marketer OR what is your favorite business that does marketing well?

I liked the Gillette commercial, where they show how men need to step up and call each other out for problematic behavior towards women. I think the ad embodied their tagline, “the best a man can get”, quite effectively.
